You will serve as a Facility Operations Specialist in the Facilities Management Division, Public Works Department Philadelphia of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. PRP11 ONLY.

Duties

You will collect and record all program required data and costs, using required corporate authoritative data management systems (such as MAXIMO, iNFADS, and ESAMS) and processes. You will maintain the Asbestos Program to facilitate transparency, repeatability, sustainability, and efficient turnover. You will serve as the resident expert on the condition of facilities. You will screen urgent and routine service request considering issues of safety, urgency, health, and security.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • This position may require occasional travel from normal duty station. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • You may at any time be assigned to a similar position at any site or workstation within the commuting area.
  • You may be designated as Essential personnel and required to report for duty or held in duty status to provide support before, during and/or after special emergency situations.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing software programs and database systems, such as Maximo, AutoCAD, and iNFADS; 2) Utilizing applications in Microsoft Suites, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint; 3) Generating reports and developing metrics for senior leadership; 4) Assisting senior leadership with developing Maintenance Execution plans, Maintenance Action plans, and Long Range Maintenance plans for facilities.
