Duties
You will provide scientific subject matter expertise, technical management, scientific direction and scientific oversight of projects within the human effects portfolio.
You will apply biomedical, behavioral and physical science expertise to develop scientifically valid research plans, and ensures research is conducted with
appropriate scientific methodologies.
You will serve as a scientific advisor to various technical working groups, performers of human effects research as well as Technology, Combat, and Materiel
Developers.
You will provide technical and fiscal oversight of Human Effects, and bio-effects-related NLW effectiveness research required to characterize the human effects and effectiveness attributes for all NLW stimuli.
You will conduct market surveys, review proposals, and engage with industry and academia as needed or directed.

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in science or engineering, with specific experience conducting original research; developing research plans; and managing research projects.
