Duties
You will support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of operational and activity solutions using IT based on
customer needs and requirements.
You will perform general, administrative, and equipment operating duties.
You will author/maintain command’s intranet site content, ensuring Privacy Act and security guidelines are adhered to.
You will provide Information Security (IS) support and act as the assistant IS advisor for unclassified and classified systems
and networks.
You will support and administers the SIPRNET Cryptographic Logon (CLO) program to include processing CLO exceptions,
CLO enablement’s, user account re-enablement, ordering SIPR tokens, reset PINs, and generate new tokens.
You will serve as an IS approving authority for System Access Authorization Request.
You will ensure that all users have the requisite security clearances and access authorization (SAAR-N).
You will implement security measures to resolve vulnerabilities, mitigates risks and recommends security changes to system
or system components as needed.
You will Based on general NMCI policy, interprets, develops, validates, and submits NMCI seat and asset orders
You will track approved subject NMCI orders, develop and propose installation plans with the DCTR and the NMCI vendor, and subsequently implement plans for
consistency with claimancy operational requirements.
You will provide next-level / elevated problem resolution for issues that are elevated above the NMCI Help Desk and require assistance beyond the user level.
Requirements

- Position is a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area (411) TECH SUPPORT SPEC proficiency level (INTERMEDIATE) within 12 months of appointment.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- Position has been designated an alternate DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) role of (461) SYSTEMS SECURITY ANALYST proficiency level (INTERMEDIATE) as a condition of employment, within 12 months of appointment.
Qualifications
In addition to the basic requirements below, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in monitoring and evaluating systems' compliance with Information Technology (IT) security requirements; 2) Assisting in the implementation of Information Technology (IT) security policies; 3) Assisting in trouble shooting and resolving Information Technology (IT) technical problems; 4) Establishing network access to enable customers to gain local or remote access; 5) Providing information technology assistance to customers.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:

Education
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited or pre-accredited institution in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management.
OR
Successful completion of 3 full years (54 hours) of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited or pre-accredited institution.
NOTE: The education listed above must be a degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management, or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or network
