You will serve as a Critical Chain Sustainment Specialist in the Planning & Operations Division of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Duties

You will use project planning and analytical software tools such as MS Project, MS Excel, and Statistical Analysis Software (SAS) for an organization. You will identify and implement ways to eliminate or reduce significant barriers to meeting production goals and objectives. You will monitor business performance metrics and strategic plans to accomplish command's mission. You will analyze information from a variety of sources such as written correspondence, reports or personal contacts, to develop studies. You will evaluate data, reports, or other information to identify improvements in the effectiveness of operations.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Directing applicable system Business Model utilization by providing functional expertise in the application of Theory of Constraints; 2) Utilizing applicable systems for performing operations that support the processes of managing database content and pipeline planning across the enterprise; 3) Overseeing critical chain master template creations with Production Line (PL) Core Team for production lines to ensure standardization; 4) Collecting and analyzing data developed during creation of critical chain templates to perform trend analysis across PLs. and validating the accuracy of data collection/reporting, and the development of trends or status indicators requiring management attention; 5) Directing, facilitating, and/or conducting highly complex operational improvement studies to determine the most economical and effective method for production to assist in eliminating bottlenecks and alleviating or resolving constraints Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
