This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Hawaii has many outdoor activities all year round including surfing, paddling, diving, fishing, and hiking.
Duties
As a Supply Technician, responsible for control and accountability of standard and non-standard supplies and equipment, combined tasks concerned with receipt, storage, issue, and replenishment of materials for the Business Operations Division.
Closely examine and systematically resolve any discrepancies involving supply issues, normal supply and demand patterns.
Review and analyze requirements which are unique and determines impact on future material and mission needs.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license and any installation or DOD operator's permit requirement for the type of equipment operated.
- This position requires temporary duty travel (TDY) of 10%.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing supply operations support for activities involving specialized or unique supplies, equipment, or parts; AND providing administrative support such as gathering information, compiling data, generating documents and maintaining files for supply management programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06)
