About the Position: Sierra Army Depot is located in Herlong CA, a rural town in Northern California. Employees work a 4/10 work week, Mon-Thurs, 0630-1700 hrs. Youth Facilities and daily childcare available. The depot serves as an Army Expeditionary Logistical Support Center, (Mass transportation is available at minimal cost.)

Duties

Prepare logistics plans for the directorate. Present formal presentations on integrated logistics support at conferences Provide advice to management on logistic system development. Review workload to ensure work meets organizational standards.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires Temporary Duty (TDY) that may be required up to 10% of the time for business purposes.
• Position may be converted to permanent without further competition.
• Temporary promotion may be made or extended up to a maximum of five years.
• Time Limited Detail NTE may be made or extended at management discretion.
• Temporary appointment may be extended in one year increments up to a maximum of three years but cannot be made permanent.
