Duties
You will serve as lead analyst for the oversight of Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3-N) and cybersecurity within the Chief of Naval Operations' Nuclear Weapons Program Office for Readiness and Compliance.
You will assess the readiness and sustainability of NC3-N operations, systems acquisition, resourcing, policy, cybersecurity, and maintenance elements within the Navy Nuclear Deterrence Mission (NNDM).
You will coordinate input regarding cybersecurity and NC3-N issues that affect the NNDM in order to identify trends and potential impacts.
You will lead the NNDM oversight of echelon 1 and 2 commands with NNDM Cybersecurity and NC3-N operations, acquisition, resourcing, policy, maintenance and supporting facilities/infrastructure responsibilities.
You will participate as a team member of the biennial Navy Nuclear Weapons Assessment (NNWA), conducting assessment of NNDM functional areas.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Nuclear Deterrent Mission position.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band (NH-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating and assessing Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) and/or Cyber Security programs readiness and sustainability by conducting analysis to effectively and efficiently enhance nuclear weapon deterrence and flexibility.
