This position is in the Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Mission Support Services, International Office, Europe, Africa & Middle East Group. The ATO International office is responsible for providing effective, consistent, and well-coordinated leadership and strategic direction for the ATO to achieve its global goals of air traffic management harmonization, standardization, advocacy, and technical and operational support
Duties
The Management and Program Analyst performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments under the minimal direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Perform analysis and evaluations on the effectiveness of program operations or policy in meeting established goals and objectives. Acts as a contributing specialist on large work activities or as a project manager or team leader for large projects/programs/activities. Assignments frequently require knowledge and experience working across functional organizational lines.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
- Designated or Random Drug Testing required.
Qualifications
Applicants must demonstrate at least one year ( 52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/pay band (FV-H, FG/GS-12) that is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized Experience is defined as:Experience using automated programs and software to support the preparation of documents, reports and information for management.Experience performing analysis and evaluations on the effectiveness of program operations or policy.Eligible applicants meeting the minimum qualification requirements and/or selective placement factor(s) (SPF) may be further evaluated on the Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA) and/or Quality Ranking Factor (QRF) listed in the announcement.
