As the Risk Management Lead with the OCIO, Enterprise Program/Project Management Office you will be responsible for ensuring the OCIO utilizes risk-based decision making focused on secure mission enablement for the prioritization of IT investments and resource allocation. You will assist all OCIO organizations with risk identification, documentation, mitigation planning, reporting, and escalation while also representing the OCIO in non-OCIO risk management forums.
Duties
Lead a robust risk management function to secure mission enablement, support the Mission Support Directorate Risk Management process and ensure the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) leadership utilizes risk-based decision making.
Develop, maintain, and implement the Information Technology (IT) Risk Management policy, plan, process, templates, and training using risk management best practices in alignment with NASA Risk Management policy.
Chair the OCIO Risk Management Working Group and support IT governance boards, other working groups, and leadership meetings to ensure risk management best practices are considered and policy/processes are understood and followed.
Consult and assist with gathering required data and presenting risk data in support of monthly/quarterly/annual reviews, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, Execution (PPBE) submissions, OCIO investment/divestment decisions and prioritization efforts.
Represent the OCIO on the Mission Support Directorate (MSD) Risk Management Working Group, the Enterprise Risk Management Working Group, and the Agency Risk Management Working Group.
Establish, maintain, assess, and report risk management metrics and utilize Continual Service Improvement (CSI) to further mature the OCIO's risk management processes, experience, and participation across the organization.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level.
Utilizing and applying risk management policies and procedures to IT decision making, planning, and implementation;
Developing and presenting clear and concise senior-level briefings, white papers, and other communications;
Leading a team including developing plans and schedules, communicating with stakeholders, providing guidance and mentoring, and delegating assignments.
AND
IF you are qualifying based on experience, you MUST also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:
