About the Position: This position is under the control of ILSC, Supply Chain Integration Directorate, Operations Division. The referral list(s) generated by this announcement may be used to fill future vacancies in other organizations throughout the Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) in Warren, MI.
Duties
Applies inventory management and supply planning operations expertise to balance supply to meet forecasted demand by generating secondary item supply action recommendations.
Plans, develops, implements, and manages effective and affordable product supply support strategies throughout the life cycle for weapons, materiel, or information systems, as addressed in applicable policy/regulatory guidance.
Leads team in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among employees per established workflow, and skill level and/or occupational specialization and making adjustments to accomplish the workload.
Supports the weapon system manager in the development and document the supply support strategy, in applicable documentation, IAW policy and regulatory guidance.
Articulates and communicates to the team the assignment, project, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion.

Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Ability to execute inventory reconciliation for components of managed weapon systems. Can execute material requirements planning for components of managed weapon systems. Can provide input into rebuild and disposal for components that are in repair programs or can no longer be used. Will be able to coordinate repair strategies to initiate component repairs. Can prepare and communicate status regarding supply availability for components managed for assigned weapon systems.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
