This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, Office of lntelligence and Analysis, in the Office of Technology and Data Services. I&A provides intelligence support across the full range of Homeland Security missions, as defined in the Quadrennial Homeland Security Review- Preventing Terrorism and Enhancing Security; Securing and Managing Our Borders; Enforcing and Administering Our Immigration Laws; Safeguarding Cyberspace; and Ensuring Resilience to Disasters.

Duties

As a Supervisory IT Specialist (Deputy Director, Mission Solutions Division), GS-2210-15, your typical work assignments may include: Manages teams of Information Technology Program Managers. Interfaces with stakeholders, both internal to TDS and external, to develop strategies to meet mission needs. Develops strategies for acquiring and managing contracts. Qualifications

Individual Occupational Requirement This position has an Individual Occupational Requirement that must be met prior to meeting the specialized experience. Applicant must possess IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four (4) competencies listed below: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. Specialized Experience You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess the specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in Federal service or equivalent private/public sector experience. For this position, specialized experience is defined as: Developing, defining and delivering briefings to senior level government stakeholders; applies analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of real or potential threats to individuals or infrastructure. Serving as the primary liaison to share and receive intelligence on transnational organized crime or other threats with the Federal state, local, and tribal law enforcement officials, intelligence community. Coordinating with agency partners and shares or makes discoverable relevant intelligence and threat information with internal and external stakeholders. NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible. Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level. All qualifications and eligibility requirements must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
