This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Office of the Chief of Operations, Facility Manager Buildings and Grounds Supreme Court, Operations and Maintenance Division, Maintenance Branch. The individual selected will perform journey-level maintenance mechanic duties in maintenance and repair of mechanical, plumbing, utility, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), steam generating equipment and building automation systems/direct digital controls.
Duties
Tour of Duty: Day Shift, 5:00 am - 2:30 pm with an option of an Alternate Work Schedule (AWS).
Requirements
- You must be able to pass a drug test.

- Must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds.

To qualify for this position, applicants must show journey level experience in at least two of the following occupational areas: Electronics, HVAC, Plumbing or Pipefitting. This experience must be reflected in your resume. You must meet the following SCREEN-OUT(S) required for this position.
Ability to perform the duties of a maintenance mechanic (i.e. maintenance and repair of mechanical, plumbing, utility, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC), steam generating equipment and building automation systems) without more than normal supervision.
