A successful candidate in this position will serve as the Supervisory Information Technology Cybersecurity Specialist serving as an Information Systems Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) with primary responsibility for the evaluation of cyber security risk for classified or unclassified information assets, serving as the IT Program Manager and overseeing the functions of the Information Technology Program and contractors.

Qualifications
For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. The employing agency is responsible for identifying the specific level of proficiency required for each competency at each grade level based on the requirements of the position being filled.
GS-5 through GS-15 (or equivalent): For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT FOR EN-4: Specialized Experience Statement: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA pay band or GS grade level in the Federal Service i.e., EN-03 or GS-13. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Experience serving as Information Technology Program Manager with the authority and responsibility for overseeing the security of operated IT systems and operations;- Providing strategic advice for a variety of complex IT and cybersecurity Management related issues;- Overseeing project costs, deliverables, risks, timelines and resources;- Overseeing contractors responsible for the design, test, and deployment of IT solutions;- Serving as Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
Examples of Specialized Experience:
1. Experience in IT systems design, system controls, and project management techniques to perceive vulnerabilities.
2. Experience developing the principles of cyber security and development of cyber security policies, procedures, and standards.
3. Experience making recommendations to senior executive branch leaders concerning overall plans and proposals for complex IT project, related to ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of operations and timely resource provisioning.
