About the Position: Manages a real estate portfolio servicing the space needs of several agencies in the intelligence community as well as other sensitive elements.
Duties
Serve as a Senior Realty Specialist, applying real estate acquisition and management regulations and practices.
Manage independently a real estate portfolio servicing the space needs of several agencies as well as other elements.
Provide a technical guidance to USACE divisions and districts when tasked to provide realty support for a stakeholder agency outside the Baltimore District.
Resolve complex negotiations with developers/lessors/commercial property owners on high level realty actions.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- The duty of this position requires Travel up to approximately 20% of the time.
- The duty of this position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver’s License.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports) upon entering the position and annually.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1. Conducting complex real estate negotiation, such as with leases, licenses, easements or permits; 2. Managing stakeholder relationships such as with tenant agencies or lessors; and 3. Ensuring the applicant of laws, regulations or policies associated with real estate acquisitions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-12.
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
