Duties
Lead complex real estate programs for acquisition, maintenance, and administration with a large budget.
Government or private sector specialized real estate experience.
Supervise, lead, and build a dedicated and effective team with diverse backgrounds.
Develop effective internal controls and establishing supporting office policies that support mission achievement.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires business travel away from the work site greater than 40% of the time.
- This position requires incumbent to obtain and maintain a SPECIAL-SENSITIVE (SS)/HIGH RISK (TOP SECRET/SCI) security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position requires incumbent to obtain and maintain a valid, State-issued motor vehicle driver's license.
- This position requires participation in the Department of Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace Program to include passing a urinalysis drug testing prior to appointment and passing random urinalysis drug testing thereafter.
- This position requires the submission of a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Disclosure Report, upon entering the position and annually.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (AT+L) Workforce position.
- The employee must meet DoDI 5000.66 requirements applicable to the duties of the position.
- Must be able to pass the polygraph test or a series of polygraph tests, and continue to pass the polygraph test on a periodic basis.
- This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Real Estate Contracting Officer Warrant no later than 24 months after employment.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience Statement: At least one-year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Served as a senior real estate subject matter expert for stakeholders executing real estate acquisition and management requirements. (2) Managed and performed work involving project milestones and budgets. (3) Conducted complex real estate negotiations, such as with leases, licenses, easements or permits. The Specialized Experience must have been gained at a level equivalent to that of a GS-13 in Federal service.

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
