You will serve as a TRAINING AND READINESS PROGRAM SPECIALIST in the Training and Readiness Subdivision of HDQTRS NDW.
Duties
You will coordinate with staff and training sites to develop training policy.
You will direct the review of training plans for installations, facilities, and contract requirements.
You will develop and compile written training policies and directives for immersive training resource
You will develop requirements, plan exercises and strategies for Ashore training at the Fleet, Region and Installation Levels for Naval District Washington (NDW).
You will plan, coordinate, and assess NDW major training exercise requirements for the Region and 6 Installations.
You will manage and coordinate a minimum of two annual major training exercises and one certification exercise for Regional Operations Center (ROC).
You will identify and implement innovative options for live, virtual, and constructive training.
You will perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience planning, conducting and evaluating multi-service and interagency training exercises;
Experience developing regional level tactical training plans;
Experience developing, analyzing, and executing budget and Program Objective Memorandums/Program Reviews (POMs/PRs); AND
Experience applying writing and editing skills to develop new tools, methods and procedures pertaining to training and readiness plans and programs, instructions, and messages.
