You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Business and Program Support Department of Trident Refit Facility (TRF), Bangor WA. Pay Range: GS-11: $81,242 - $105,612 per annum GS-12: $97,376 - $126,585 per annum

Duties

You will perform logistical review of work performed on TRIDENT Class Submarines. You will mitigate complex factors such as schedule changes, ship conditions, system line-up and maintenance plan changes. You will serve as the Liaison in the development and implementation of new and revised planned maintenance requirements. You will develop and maintain applicable TRIDENT Class Availability Work Packages (AWP). You will analyze, evaluate, deconflict, and recommend alternative solutions for Refit Work Packages.

• There may be heavy workload and or short deadlines for processing work that may require overtime work.
• You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
• Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
• Some travel may be involved.

Qualifications

To qualify at the GS-12 level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing logistics program management services relative to the logistical planning, and analysis of TRIDENT Class Submarines maintenance plan. To qualify at the GS-11 level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing logistics review of services relative to TRIDENT Class Submarines maintenance plan. Education

Education may be substituted for experience as follows:
For the GS-11:
completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree
OR
completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
