Duties
You will manage the work of the Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) for SLCM-N
You will develop and implement an organizational vision that establishes SLCM-N goals, priorities, and values that focus on striving for improved customer service and program performance in the work environment.
You will coordinate pre-award activities such as requirements definition, acquisition planning, and contract formation processes.
You will develop short-, medium-, and long-range contract strategies and coordinate with SSP stakeholders to implement broad plans for the SLCM-N program, obtaining alignment with partner long range hypersonic program strategies and plans.
You will be responsible for coordinating the collection and analysis of EVMS data for contracted efforts on a regular basis (monthly or quarterly) for each contract.
You will oversee the inspection, acceptance, or rejection of deliverables during contract performance and at close-out in conformance with contract terms and conditions.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Nuclear Deterrent Mission position.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band (NH-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating acquisition process related to the development, deployment, acquisition and/or life cycle to effectively and efficiently administer and develop short-, medium-, and long-range acquisition planning in support of major defense systems projects.
