Duties
You will provide SME level expertise on-site, worldwide, to execute and maintain field office identity activity operations.
You will utilize identity activities subject matter expertise to ensure non-standard biometric data obtained from field elements is processed, submitted, and ingested into US government authoritative biometrics databases.
You will utilize NCIS internal and external intelligence community databases to assess NCIS field office investigations and operations to identify gaps in identity activity operations and opportunities.
You will develop operational planning documentation in coordination with NCIS field office personnel to initiate identity activity operations.
You will Coordinate and liaises with DON, Department of Defense (DoD), US government inter-agency and foreign government biometrics organizations to develop and/or revise business rules.
You will engage with US government and international biometrics community by attending meetings, symposiums, and trainings to ensure NCIS remains at the cutting edge of biometrics and identity activities capabilities.
You will independently coordinate, collaborate, and brief NCIS leadership, representatives from other US law enforcement and intelligence community partners, military combatant commands, and foreign law enforcement/intelligence community partners.
You will present written products and briefings to executive level audiences and leaders related to NCIS identity intelligence analysis.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, organizing, and coordinating operations in the capacity of the subject matter expert for NCIS, DON, DoD, interagency and foreign partners regarding identity activities.
