Qualifications

To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience requirements.To qualify for the Grade 14, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equal or equivalent to the GS-13, it must include: Experience managing resources and programs, driving operational planning initiatives, fostering organizational improvements, and streamlining program delivery. Experience providing data analysis and contract management to include developing objectives, overseeing contractor performance, and aligning efforts with contractual goals. Experience contributing towards agencywide policies directly affecting efficiency and effectiveness of an organization. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Reasoning - Identifies rules, principles, or relationships that explain facts, data, or other information; analyzes information and makes correct inferences or draws accurate conclusions. Influencing/Negotiating (‡) - Persuades others; builds consensus through give and take; gains cooperation from others to obtain information and accomplish goals. Interpersonal Skills (‡) - Treats others with courtesy, sensitivity, and respect. Considers and responds appropriately to the needs and feelings of different people in different situations. Problem Solving (‡) - Identifies and analyzes problems; weighs relevance and accuracy of information; generates and evaluates alternative solutions; makes recommendations. For all types of consideration, experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
