You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER in the NLSC.
Duties
You will administer and oversee multiple Echelon 2 level military and/or civilian programs within OJAG/NLSC and provides subject matter expertise to program leads within the Department of Navy DESCP.
You will assist with gathering the input required to update and maintain all administrative program requirements.
You will be responsible for managing the mail program across the DoN DESCP.
You will serve as DESCP Records Manager/Division Liaison responsible for insuring record keeping creation, retention and archiving
of DESCP Privacy Act compliance and permanent records.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following:
1) Overseeing or administering administrative operations that ensure compliance with established guidelines and requirements;
2) Providing administrative oversight and /or support to one or more of personnel/management programs;
3) Advising management on maintaining sound organization structures and improving management methods and procedures;
4) Preparing, formatting, and developing briefs, project papers, status/staff reports, and correspondence;
5) Managing resources, budgets, records, and personnel in support of department operations;
6) Operating personal computers and software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite Products and standard commercial spreadsheet, database, presentation, and desktop publishing software including Microsoft EXCEL, Word, Access, and Power-Point to prepare various documents and reports.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.M., if related
OR
a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience
