Duties
You will be responsible for providing special technical analysis and guidance on procurement, budget execution, and the strategy and planning for activity.
You will support the leadership to integrate Sea-Launched Cruise Missile-Nuclear (SLCM-N) acquisition with the development and maintenance of technical documentation, technical design, and prototype in support of acquisition reviews.
You will support the development of the overall test strategy, technical data package reviews, weapons system analysis, subsystem objective and qualify evidence.
You will support the development of integrated master schedules, action plans, and inchstones used to ensure technical rigor is maintained for strategic weapon systems.
You will effectively communicate and work within working level teams.
You will gather and exchange data, independently explore and research using internal and external policy, to resolve complex issues and coordinate varied program actions and timelines.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialist experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: provide program planning, assessment, analysis, coordination and advisory services in support of a weapons program.
