You will serve as a ACADEMIC COORDINATOR (OA) in the Naval War College, Provost, Dean of Faculty, Dean, College of Distance Education of NAVAL WAR COLLEGE.
Duties
You will process applicants through the Student Information system (SIS), admitting and registering those that meet program eligibility criteria.
You will manage the add/drop function of enrollment.
You will review work performed by office automation (OA) clerks for accuracy and completeness.
You will prepare mass emails to deliver information required by students for graduation in accordance with academic policy.
You will complies with the college’s records management policies related to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and disposes of all student records as scheduled.

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
- Relocation expenses (i.e. PCS) may be authorized in accordance with applicable travel regulations.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Performing administrative support functions associated with planning, coordinating, organizing, and management of an academic program.
Advising on program requirements, reviewing records to determine if requirements are met, and maintaining documentation to support program requirements.
Using an online student information administration, or management system to monitor and manage student enrollment and placement in courses including correctly prioritizing waitlists.
Maintaining office records according to rules, regulations, and policies.
