This position is located in the Office of Transit Safety & Oversight, Office of Performance Analysis and Quality Assurance. The position is responsible for supporting and coordinating various programs and special projects of an analytical nature. The incumbent supports oversight review programs, data collection and analysis triennial and specialized financial and procurement reviews.

Qualifications

To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration.To qualify for the Grade 12, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-11 it must include: Experience developing and implementing efficiency and quality improvements and the analysis of the impact on the public transit industry. Experience preparing and delivering analysis, observations, detailed briefings, and recommendations through presentations to internal and external audiences. Delivers guidance and technical assistance to transit stakeholders and make recommendations. To qualify for the Grade 13, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-12, it must include: Experience developing and implementing efficiency and quality improvements and the analysis of the impact on the public transit industry. Experience preparing and delivering analysis, observations, detailed briefings, and recommendations through presentations to internal and external audiences. Delivers guidance and technical assistance to transit stakeholders and make recommendations. Experience in and working knowledge of contract managements, including the development of scopes of work, management of cost, schedule and contract adherence, and technical direction of contractors. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Quality Management - Knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools of quality assurance, quality control, and reliability used to ensure that a project, system, or product fulfills requirements and standards. Organizational Performance Analysis - Knowledge of the methods, techniques, and tools used to analyze program, organizational, and mission performance; includes methods that deliver keyperformance information (for example, comparative, trend, diagnostic, root cause, predictive) used to inform decisions, actions, communications, and accountability systems. Oral Communication (*) - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
