This position is located at Departmental Offices, Terrorism and Financial Intelligence - Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). As a Management and Program Analyst, you will assist colleagues in support of core Treasury Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) under the general supervision of the Assistant Director, Information Technology (AD/IT).

Duties
The following are the duties of this position at the GS-9. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:
Conduct analysis of software applications to provide recommendations for problem solving.
Write user help material (in blog / FAQ / online help / user guide formats) that support user needs.
Assist in plans for upgrades of the OFAC information systems, and participate in their testing.
Monitor data consistency and integrity through colleague developed data analysis.
Perform data maintenance responsibilities (including manual data cleanup) as required and recommend data improvements.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:For the GS-7 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-5 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
Assisting with research in support of business processes; AND
Experience with Customer Service; AND
Creating and maintaining user guides/instructional materials; AND
Experience with basic database concepts (such as; querying data, formatting data).
OR EDUCATION: You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows:
-One full year of graduate level education in a related field; OR
-Superior Academic Achievement based on a bachelors degree that is demonstrated through:
Class standing (upper 1/3 of class); OR
Grade point average (3.0/4.0 overall or 3.5/4.0 in major); OR
Election to membership in a qualifying national scholastic honor society.
OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. Options for qualifying based on a combination will be identified in the online questions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:For the GS-5 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-4 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
Experience with Customer Service; AND
Creating and maintaining user guides/instructional materials; AND
Experience with Microsoft Office suite tools.
OR EDUCATION: You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows:
Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree
OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. Options for qualifying based on a combination will be identified in the online questions.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Education
