Duties

Communicate with Parts Managers, Production Planners, and PMD Personnel to ensure materials needed align with production schedule requirements. Utilize programs such as Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to accomplish daily duties. Ensure parts are ordered in accordance with production requirements. Take action to resolve discrepancies in parts to include wrong parts received, substituting items not acceptable, and non-availability of parts. Plan assignments for ordering parts for the logistics directorate.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance for access to Depot Production Computer System.
• Position may be converted to permanent without further competition.
• Temporary promotion may be made or extended up to a maximum of five years.
• Temporary reassignment may be made or extended at management discretion.
• Temporary appointment may be extended in one year increments up to a maximum of two years.
• Position may be converted to permanent without further competition if an authorized space becomes available.
