Duties
As a PUBLIC HEALTH ADVISOR you will:
Exercise independent program management and operational responsibility for planning and development of national public health capacity building program activities.
Serve as senior Public Health Advisor and management coordinator of national public health capacity building program activities.
Direct and coordinate the efforts required to plan and execute all aspects of the management operations of the Division.
Provide authoritative advice, guidance, and assistance to Division's Senior Leadership Team on all matters related to the management, administrative, support, financial and technical programmatic operations, initiatives, processes, and/or procedures of the Division's programs.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify at the GS-15 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level, which must include the following experience: managing, implementing, and leading public health programs, strategic planning, fiscal management, implementing processes for development, improvement, and execution of program objectives and initiatives, and reporting outputs and outcomes. .
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Copy of your transcripts or equivalent documentation is required for positions with an education requirement, or if you are qualifying based on education or a combination of education and experience. An official transcript will be required if you are selected.
College or university degree generally must be from an accredited (or pre-accredited) college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. For a list of schools which meet these criteria, please refer to

You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
