About the Position: This is an obligated position. Position may be filled as a time-limited promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade not to exceed (NTE) One (1) year by a current permanent Army employee. Position may be made permanent without further competition.
Duties
Plan and develop supply/maintenance related logistics automated computer application software and procedures.
Investigate logistics problems or conditions associated with logistics programs/operations and formulate solution or alter existing logistics systems.
Implement new methods and techniques for technical requirements and recommend changes in basic policy issuance's covering established logistics techniques.
Consult with functional personnel regarding process standardization, data management, and integration requirements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Secret security clearance.
- Acquisition certification, Life Cycle Logistics, Foundational within 3 years of job entry.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience service which includes: Using automated databases and Enterprise Resource Planning Systems; AND Applying supply, financial and maintenance regulations, policies and directives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
