As a Program Analyst, you will be responsible for providing expert analysis on a variety of subject matter, and for initiating and/or leading projects involving the evaluation of regional programs/operations.
The Acquisition Management Division provides innovative, timely and cost effective acquisition and business solutions for internal and external customers.
We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Duties
Monitors and evaluates assigned programs and initiatives. Develops recommendations for activities, operating policies and/or procedures.
Serves as a technical advisor for assigned program activities, recommending appropriate resources to facilitate accomplishment of objectives.
Plans and/or directs complex projects requiring evaluation and identification of a variety of operational problems, evaluating alternative solutions and recommending appropriate action.
Prepares and/or conducts briefings for higher level management to explain the specific analysis of subject matter, as well as to provide recommendations or action plans and provide guidance and/or direction for implementation. Makes recommendations for the development or modification of program objectives and resource utilization to achieve established goals, and to improve the performance of operating programs.
Requirements

The GS-13 salary range starts at $105,029 per year (2024 General Schedule Pay Table).
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience analyzing and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of administrative or technical programs; conducting studies, analyzing findings and making recommendations on substantive programs; identifying or developing metrics to measure success of initiatives and using quantitative and qualitative data to determine if success has been met.
