About the Position: Responsible for establishing policy and operating guidelines to include planning, development, organizing, management, direction, execution and administration of all assigned field-level maintenance missions and programs supporting TRADOC, Center of Excellence (COE).
Duties
Evaluate performance, hears group grievances and employee complaints, as well as reviews disciplinary cases of team personnel.
Interpret and implement broad field level maintenance program policies and directives promulgated by higher authority.
Responsible for the planning, development, management, administration and execution of the overall field level maintenance mission.
Develop and integrate long and short-term planning for the execution of field-level maintenance programs across the Center of Excellence (CoE).
Formulate and coordinate maintenance management policies and functions.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
- Position may require evening, weekend and/or holiday hours, to include mandatory overtime as mission dictates.
- The duties of the position require Temporary Duty Travel approximately 25% of the duty time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) establishing policy and operating guidelines for a ground motor pool field level maintenance organization; 2) discussing with internal and external organizations immediate and long-range plans; 3) planning, managing, coordinating, and directing logistical services and maintenance support for an organization; and 4) interpreting plans, policies, and procedures from a higher echelon. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
