You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the SUSTAINMENT GROUP/LOGISTICS INTEGRATION DEPT/STRIKE WEAPONS & UAV DIV/STRIKE WEAPONS & UAV BRANCH/SUSTAINMENT GROUP/LOGISTICS INTEGRATION DEPT/STRIKE WEAPONS & UAV DIV/STRIKE WEAPONS & UAV BRANCH of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. This position is located at Patuxent River, MD
Duties
You will be responsible for the development, planning and execution for logistics program budgets and associated budget development processes.
You will provide logistics leadership; technical assistance/guidance, and directs logistic program management in support of the Product Support Manager for the assigned PMA (Program Office).
You will direct the team on all topics to include logistics, programmatic, and budgets.
You will manage DAPMLs and LMSs with Navy, Joint and FMS development of an Advanced Development program.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12/13) or pay band (DS-05) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following:
1) Providing logistics briefs to senior leadership and stakeholders, both verbally and written; 2) Experience pertaining to contracts management, CDRLs, SOWs and contract performance execution; 3) Experience related to budget management and financial controls; 4) Leading Readiness Control Board (RCB) activities, administering and executing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Technical Directives.
