Duties

Plan, organize, and coordinate, the accomplishment of combined arms exercises. Manage, coordinate, and synchronize team workload through the Military Decision-Making Process. Develop and submit exercise planning estimates and analysis for directed exercises. Direct and control accomplishment of exercise projects affecting the current and long-range operations of this Regional Combat Training Center. Analyze the impact of exercises in terms of the projected level of support requirements. Conduct review of exercise concepts (CONOPS), identifying un-programmed requirements and prepares recommendations on the use of available assets or strategies to obtain support for these requirements.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 50% of the time.
• During rotational exercises, the employee is required to work a flexible duty hours which includes - weekends, holidays, and shift work consistent of 10-12 hours days for an extended 2-week period or longer.
