Duties
Assists and monitors the operation and control of a food service activity or assigned food service area. Assists in budget preparation by providing input as to operational requirements and maintaining activity records. Assists in determining equipment and activity maintenance requirements and accomplishing required maintenance and replacement of property or equipment. Assists in the procurement of required supplies such as food merchandise, paper goods and cleaning supplies. Maintains and enforces security of funds, merchandise, supplies, equipmentand property in accordance with policies and procedures. Responsible for the issue, receipt, safekeeping, deposit and accountability of funds. Completes daily and monthly financial reports anddaily cost of goods and labor. Makes unscheduled cash counts. Prepares reports of significant occurrences during the shift. Assures patron satisfaction by resolving complaints and other customer issues. Inspects and secures facility at the end of the shift. May plan and schedule daily service menus for activities and events. May assist in preparing work schedules, assigning work, and conducting training. May provide recommendations for employee performance appraisals, promotions and disciplinary actions. Ensures compliance with fire, safety, sanitation and security regulations.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: At least one year experience demonstrating knowledge of fastfood, restaurant and business operations. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and salesoperation. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing, and to provide work direction to other employees. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.
