You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the FACILITIES MANAGEMENT DIVISION of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Duties

You will coordinate daily activities of facilities operations (e.g., planning, requirement development, acceptance, assignment, maintenance) to support mission requirements. You will review operations of an organization in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with facility requirements to meet mission directives. You will assign tasks and priorities for employees to accomplish a facility department's business goals. You will coordinate with organization and public works business lines to develop facility maintenance planning and execution strategies. You will implement plans to resolve organizational differences involving facility procedures, priorities, space, and equipment requirements. You will project future facilities resource requirements based on expanding or changing requirements.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Supervising a diverse team of professional and technical personnel providing facilities management work and services; 2) Providing leadership in the processing and routing of customer work requests for all products and services at the Public Works Department to include cost estimates, engineering services, and planning services; 3) Performing facility inspections, validating and updating a facilities inventory, and creating facility sustainment plans using Infrastructure Condition Assessment Program (ICAP) and Condition Based Maintenance Management (CBMM) programs; 4) Coordinating and partnering with customers to identify and prioritize all facility and utility requirements to include development, restoration and modernization of real property.
