You will serve as a DEPUTY REGION INSPECTOR GENERAL in a COMMANDER, NAVY INSTALLATION COMMAND (CNIC), REGIONAL OFFICE OF THE INSPECTOR GENERAL (OIG), of HDQTRS NDW.

Duties

You will oversee the planning and assignment of work by management so work is completed based on priorities and resource capabilities. You will brief high ranking officials to report on inspection findings and recommendations. You will document problems, deficiencies, violations of laws and regulations, orders, directives, or practices for compliance with requirements. You will promote the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program in respect to training, promotions, awards, appointments, recognition to achieve goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an official passport.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, organizing, controlling, and leading the Inspector General's (IG) team, investigative/inspection/oversight functions and operations; 2) Conducting investigations into the most sensitive nature; 3) Providing oversight to deter fraud, waste, and mismanagement; 4) Managing the IG's Hotline program; 5) Planning and executing inspections and internal oversight, reviews, studies, and analyses of the programs/operations; 6) Executing guidance or training in support of Managers' Internal Control Program (MICP) / External Liaison Oversight.
