Duties
As a Public Health Analyst you will:
Serve as expert analyst in developing, monitoring, implementing, and evaluating current or projected complex, interrelated immunization programs involving governmental and non-governmental organizations from multiple sectors at the community, State, national and/or international levels.
Analyze existing or proposed systems, strategies, services, or other health-related matters for long range implementation and administration of the immunization program.
Coordinate high level, collaborative projects with other internal and/or external organizations to meet broad agency goals.
Collect and compiles qualitative and quantitative information and data for use in program decisions.
Research and prepare responses to inquiries received in writing or telephonically (e.g., Congressional briefing materials and responses.)
Inventory, track, summarize, and disseminate critical public information and progress reports. Interprets administrative policies, develops local administrative policies and guidelines for subordinate program activities, defines administrative requirements, and provides advice to management on related matters.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify at the GS-13 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level, which must include the following experience:
Specialized experience is experience which is directly related to the position which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position to include experience developing, implementing, and evaluating current or projected interrelated immunization programs involving governmental and non-governmental organizations.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
