You will serve as a COMMAND ADMINISTRATIVE AND SUPPORT SUPERVISOR in the COMMAND OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT and COMMAND ADMIN DIVISION of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
This position serves as the Command Administrative Division responsible for the Command Services and Travel Branches, Directives, Control Administrator and Mail functional areas and manages administrative support for of FRCSW (N65888) military personnel.
The duty location for this position is San Diego, CA.
Duties
You will serve as the Command Administrative Division responsible for Command Services and Travel Branches, Directives, Control Administrator and Mail functional areas and manage administrative support for FRCSW N65888 military/civilian personnel.
You will be responsible for the management and oversight of all programs assigned to the Command Administrative Division and ensure the programs are executed in accordance with Federal, DoD, and Navy regulations, as well as local policies.
You will participate in conferences/meetings with COMFRC/NAVAIR/FRC counterparts regarding such topics as organizational strategy and administration, continuous process improvements, and standardization of operations for all functional areas.
You will lead enterprise wide studies in order to develop, identify and propose solutions to management support problems which are characterized by their criticality and severity.
You will assess organizational requirements, resources, and processes to effectively provide quality service to internal and external customers.
You will use a broad range of knowledge of DON Administrative services to include Joint Travel Regulations(JTR), records management, Federal Management Regulation (FMR) and administrative protocol.
You will supervise personnel and resource management allocation.
You will assess the organizational aspects of the Production and Support Departments to determine manpower needs by series and initiates action to recruit, reassign, or train personnel to meet staffing requirements.
You will supervise and support the Equal Employment Opportunity Program.
You will execute organizational and cultural change in the Competency throughout the Command with complex changes that may impact aspects of the FRCSW organization and with interface with internal customers.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Assessing and analyzing workload requirements and demands of internal and external customers to determine appropriate staffing levels or manpower resources required;
2) Analyzing data to manage a department and propose solutions to wide range issues in order to improve efficiencies within the workplace;
3) Leading enterprise wide studies in order to develop, identify and propose solutions to management support problems;
4) Establishing manpower allocations to meet customer requirements; and
5) Leading complex and multi-disciplined teams as well as providing advisory and analytical support to executive decision makers.
