You will serve as a SMALL CRAFT OPERATOR of NAVBASE KITSAP SILVERDALE WA.
Duties
You will operate the engine and associated equipment onboard small craft.
You will perform daily oil boom checks around vessels and piers.
You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of small crafts.
You will assist dockmasters with pier clean-up, set-up and breakdown; to include transport of pier platforms, stands and brows.
You will prepare daily work schedules and be responsible for completing required elements of small craft onboard preventive maintenance programs.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO LEAD OR SUPERVISE 1) Operating and repairing of propulsion/power generating equipment. 2) Make a proper tie-up of various craft movements, and use basic computer skills such as interpreting, add, and/or modify entries into computer software such as government travel and training.
