Please Note: Employees will be required to report to their assigned office location at least 2 day per week for non-supervisory positions and 3 days per week for supervisory/managerial positions unless the position advertised is designated as a remote-only position.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Broad view of USG economic policy and is able to lead intra- and inter-agency discussions to ensure EXIM's goals and objectives align with the Administration's policies and its statutory mandates.
Oversees the administrative budget (e.g. travel and training) for the Banking and Financial Products Division, advising the Senior Vice President and Deputy Senior Vice President on how to handle political level issues arising within the Division, providing guidance to Division staff on priorities and objectives, and assigns projects and assignments to Division staff.
Serves as a key member of the senior staff within OPAIR. Represents the Banking and Financial Products Division and advises the OPAIR Senior Vice President and Deputy Senior Vice President in developing strategies, planning tactics and implementing policy and program actions related to implementing Charter mandates, Administration goals and accomplishing the Bank's objectives.
Develops and manages directives from the OPAIR SVP and Deputy SVP concerning the analysis of EXIM guarantee and insurance programs. Develops proposals, programs and policy options to maximize the role of commercial banks and other funding sources including the Private Export Funding Corporation (PEFCO).

Qualifications
Specialized Experience (Credit for Specialized Experience on resume must reflect 40 hours/Full-time per week for each period of work):
GS-15: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal Government or other equivalent pay systems. Specialized experience includes:
Experience leading the design, implementation and monitoring of new programs and policies of related to institutional objectives in the area of international finance/trade and export finance;
Experience overseeing administrative budgets (e.g. training and travel), advising line staff on priority and objective setting, and assigning projects and assignments;
Experience in monitoring trends in export and trade financing, including the structuring of such transactions, allowing you to advise Senior leadership on how to establish goals and priorities for policy reviews, developments and strategic issues; and
Experience leading working groups examining technical issues in the area of trade and export finance or educating senior leadership/staff on technical aspects of the area of trade and export finance.
Education cannot be substituted for experience at the GS-15 grade level.
