This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Department of Defense Protection Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located with the National Guard Bureau, Joint Staff, J1, Manpower and Personnel Directorate, Frederick, MD

Duties

Coordinate with members on the multi-disciplinary prevention team. Serve as the senior educator for integrated primary prevention across the organization. Apply public health model to advise on prevention workforce implementation.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: evaluate all Prevention Workforce efforts and training; measure and improve human services program effectiveness and productivity and make recommendations for program improvement; produce reports and analyze data to inform the implementation of the Integrated Primary Prevention Program; advise high-ranking officials on decisions and other matters relating to the work of the directorates Primary Prevention Program Management efforts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12)
