We are looking for motivated Supervisory Management Analyst to help drive the NIH mission.These positions are located throughout multiple areas of the Office of Management (OM), Office of the Director (OD), National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Duties
If selected, you may perform the following duties:
Establish priorities and provides oversight and supervision to the planning, development, implementation, and review of projects and initiatives.
Identify and propose solutions to management on problems characterized by their breadth, importance, and complexity, and for which previous studies and established management techniques were frequently inadequate.
Prepare a variety of comprehensive status reports, management summaries, and briefing papers that identify problems, assess the overall condition of work completed or in progress, and outlines issues, solutions, and recommendations.
Participate in planning sessions, contributes management-oriented expertise in discussions of innovative ways and means of carrying out assigned programs, new programs, etc. and provides expert advice on the administrative and management implications of policy and program proposals.
Supervise personnel to conduct in-depth studies, reviews, evaluations, and assessments of issues and proposals assigned; determines the functionality of unique organizational structures and provides necessary and appropriate coordination among key participants for the long- range planning and development of organizational strategies to meet objectives and mission.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship requirement or proof of being a U.S. National must be met by closing date.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory Management Analyst, GS-343 position at the GS-14 level, you must have:
1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: providing technical leadership to a team performing management analysis operations; developing and implementing programmatic and organizational strategies and goals; analyzing and evaluating administrative processes and recommending efficiency in accomplishing workload and program objectives; conducting in-depth studies and evaluations of issues related to improving organizational management; developing organizational strategies to meet objectives related to talent acquisition, leadership development, workforce planning, human capital management activities or succession planning.
