The position is telework eligible consistent with the Agency’s telework and remote work program policy.This position is located in the Office of Postsecondary Education (OPE), Policy, Planning and Innovation (PPI), in Washington, DC. The Incumbent of this position will administer and direct programs and processes, interpret and implement policies, and develop associated guidance and training for Department of Education management and staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification Requirements You may meet the minimum qualifications for the GS-11, if you possess the specialized experience, education, or a combination of the two.Specialized Experience for the GS-11 One year of experience in either federal or non-federal service that is equivalent to at least a GS-09 performing two (2) out of three (3) following duties or work assignments:1. Experience providing programmatic support in both written and verbal formats to analyze data, ensure compliance, make recommendations, and identify current and future program trends.2. Experience reviewing and analyzing large volumes of program data to assess efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory procedures.3. Experience providing guidance, administrative tracking support, and other oversight activities for projects.  OREDUCATION (see EDUCATION SECTION of the vacancy announcement)OR A combination of both education and experience in which the total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify an applicant for that grade level.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) The quality of your experience will be measured by the extent to which you possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs).
