Duties
As a Supervisory Public Health Analyst (Policy and Issues Management) you will:
Develop goals and objectives for the Office of the Executive Secretariat that integrate organizational priorities and align with the strategic plan.
Provide quality assurance/quality control for all documents flowing to and from OES.
Support key leadership in assessment, management, mitigation
options, and resolution of issues and initiatives affecting CDC's priorities and goals.
Review, analyze, and advise leadership on Federal legislation, regulations, and program descriptions pertaining to public health.
Analyze the impact of laws, regulations, and programs on the agency and proposes changes necessary to respond to changed requirements or situations.
Direct, coordinate, and oversee work through subordinate supervisors and/or team leaders.
Serve as a member of the senior management team.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify at the GS-15 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level, which must include experience in policy analysis related to the review, reporting, coordination, and communication of public health issues.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
