About the Position: Serves as a Mississippi Valley Division (MVD) Action Officer and Program Manager who provides staff expertise to the Districts throughout the life cycle of all types of Civil Works studies and projects. Duties

Exercises staff oversight of planning and program management activities. Coordinating interdisciplinary Quality Assurance (QA) teams in production of feasibility reports Analyzing effects and providing guidance to district project managers in application of legislation, executive orders, Army regulations, policies, and procedures. Assuring quality decision documents and projects are produced by involvement throughout the project life cycle which includes the planning, design, construction, and operation and maintenance phases. Developing recommendations for changes in policy, procedures, and objectives in formulation and execution of water resource studies and projects. Providing regional interface with states, other federal agencies, HQUSACE, ASA(CW)and Congress. Principal responsibility for Command and Control, Regional Interface, Program Management, and Quality Assurance.
