Duties

Serves as the primary adviser for the staff and units on the orders management process and system. Facilitates the proper and timely publication of WARNOs, OPORDs, FRAGOs, TASKORDs and EXORDs in order to provide the USARPAC Command Group and units predictability and clarity on upcoming requirements. Provides oversight on the USARPAC’s Order Management Tool (OMT) to include: (1) Manages incoming orders for processing. (2) Ensures complete staffing of all orders to ensure staff synchronization, and subordinate command input is considered. (3) Reviews and approves all incoming WARNOs, OPORDs, FRAGOs, TASKORDs and EXORDs. (4) Publication of all approved orders provides early situational awareness. (5) Manages HQDA directed individual augmentee tasking to USARPAC. (6) Creates TASKORD for all individual augmentee tasking to appropriate MSC/TEC/DRU. (7) Management of the USARPAC Published Order Library. (8) Ensures all published order are uploaded and posted on library. (9) Maintains historical data of previous published order.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • This position is designated as Drug Testing Required. Incumbent is subject to random urinalysis testing in accordance with DA guidelines. Incumbent must complete DA 5019.
  • This position has been designated as "Key" and shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization as doing so would seriously impair the capability of the organization to function effectively.
  • The incumbent must be exempted from recall to active duty and will receive training to ensure mission accomplishment of sustaining base operations during mobilization.
  • The incumbent may be recalled to duty and required to work overtime during other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays on an emergency basis. This position is subject to uncommon tours of duty and/or shift work.
  • This position's duties are performed in a windowless building in small workspaces. Accessing the workspace requires the ability to occasionally walk up/down stairs as well as move throughout the building into various work areas.
  • Work environment may be mentally and physically taxing when extended work hours are required during exercise and crisis operations.
  • The incumbent is required to report for duty during inclement weather, Natural Disasters, and other emergency situations as directed by the Commander.
  • May be required to remain on duty after the official shift ends, i.e., mandatory overtime; subject to recall to duty.
  • Incumbent must maintain a functioning telephone to aid in contact during recall/emergency situations.
