Duties
As a Supervisory Management Analyst, you will:
Authority to assign, direct and assess work of subordinate employees; plans schedules and coordinates placed-based work operations of the Division; establishes performance standards; approves/disapproves employee requests for leave and rates performance; recommends awards and takes disciplinary action when necessary.
Assures employee relations including overseeing Equal Employment Opportunity and labor-management responsibilities and activities for assigned staff.
Assists the RA and DRA in assuring the operational functions of the office are carried out in an efficient, effective and placed-based manner.
Assists in the coordination, development and reporting of the office-wide management plan.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-15 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
- Analyzing issues related to office operations, policies, and procedures; AND
- Developing reports for management officials that outline findings and recommending solutions/appropriate action; AND
- Contributing to the development of major policies.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-15 you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
