About the Position: Serves as G8 representative, management and program analyst and staff action officer in the USARNORTH G8. Responsible for Financial Management Operations for the Joint Force Land Component Command / USARNORTH Main Command Post providing operational support to the USARNORTH G8, USARNORTH Reimbursement Cell, and Defense Coordinating Officers / Elements.

Duties

Develop guidance and monitors assigned programs to support and implement Support Agreements and lease management programs or initiatives. Develop and presents command policy memoranda, recurring reports (weekly, monthly, and annual), decision and information briefings and program support documents to manage critical programs. Develop and provides training programs and training guides to assist personnel in USARNORTH Staff in program management. Coordinate and facilitates the accomplishment of Support Agreements and Leases between USARNORTH activities and their support installations or other support sources, including other military services and government agencies. Participate in and leads project and program management studies or initiatives across a broad spectrum of management areas. Implement assigned segments of the manpower and management program for USARNORTH. Review and interpret occupancy agreements (OA) providing a concise statement of specific financial terms and conditions for occupation of General Services Administration (GSA) space. Establish memorandums of agreement/ understanding (MOA/MOU) with DoD components to identify shared administrative control (ADCON) responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent will be required to deploy within the NORTHCOM AOR on short notice (in under 24 hours) .
  • Incumbent will be expected to function in adverse climatic conditions and under intense physical and mental stress.
  • Must be capable, upon completion of training, of unassisted donning of mission oriented protective posture (MOPP) mask, clothing and equipment, or equivalent clothing and protective equipment.
  • Must be able to wear other personal protective equipment (PPLEVE) or clothing such as boots, goggles, gloves, chemical mask and other safety equipment as required.
  • As a pre-condition of employment, any and all incumbents of this position must pass a physical examination.
  • Participation in the DOD/DA Immunization program to include live vaccinations as required by DOD/DA policy.
  • Must be able to obtain/hold a SECRET security clearance. Failure to satisfactory complete any aspect of this process is grounds for termination.
  • Position has a travel requirement of 20%.
  • Employees may be required to wear an electronic pager and maintain a working telephone at all times.
  • A probationary period maybe required.
