About the Position: Serves as a recognized authority or senior manager leading and managing assigned area and/or programs for major, highly complex weapon or information systems acquisition in the areas of Logistics Support.
This is a pay banded position. The NH-04 encompasses grades 14 and 15 on the General Schedule.
Duties
Ensures compliance with policies and recommends policy changes to fit the requirements of new systems.
Defines problems, develop recommendations for issues and resolutions of issues to be addressed.
Provides high-level managers and military planners background information, planning rationales, and alternatives.
Develops and presents convincing oral/written presentations to all levels of government and other management.
Supports an understanding of the Command's Affirmative/EEO Program.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- One-year supervisory probationary period may be required.
- One-year trial/probationary period may be required.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Advanced certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty.
- TDY may be required up to 25% of the time.
- This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Leading a team performing logistics management duties within a weapon system and/or information system project/programs; 2) Providing guidance, advice and recommendations on weapon system and/or information system logistics; and 3) Presenting briefings and/or reports on program logistics.
