About the Position: This is a PERMANENT position with the Directorate of Human Resources at Fort Jackson, SC. The incumbent will work under the general supervision of the Project Manager of the Military Personnel Division/Adjutant General (MPD/AG).
Duties
Performs a variety of administrative functions essential to the direction and operation of the Military Personnel Division/Adjutant General Most Efficient Organization (MEO).
Responsible for the planning, developing, managing, and controlling of various administrative programs necessary for the day-to-day operations of the Military Personnel Division /Adjutant General Most Efficient Organization.
Conducts assigned reviews, studies, and assessments of the Identification Card Sections, In and Out Processing and Records Management in order to streamline the workflow process of actions processed in the Military Personnel Division.
Ensures property book is in conjunction with Installation Property Book Office to control equipment on hand.
Reviews, monitors, compiles, prepares and/or maintains a variety of records and reports.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes (1) Performing procedural and administrative work in an office setting; (2) Utilizing Microsoft Office to manage calendars, schedule meetings, and prepare and edit documents (e.g. correspondence, spreadsheets, etc.); (3) Coordinate meetings and/or conferences including schedules, agenda, minutes, and timelines; (4) Follow up on taskers/due dates and ensure timely response, and (5) Knowledge of and experience utilizing Human Resources systems (Autonoa, EMPReS, DCPDS, RPA initiation, etc.). This is definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
