This position is located in the Decision Writing Unit, National Case Assistance Center, Office of Hearings Operations (OHO). The incumbent is responsible and accountable for the overall program management, direction, planning, objectives, policy-making and coordination of the National Case Assistance Center. The incumbent assumes full responsibility for operations in the absence of the Supervisory Management and Program Analyst and acts on all matters with full authority of commitment within assigned jurisdiction.
The incumbent performs confidential and sensitive assignments for the Supervisory Management and Program Analyst and speaks on his/her behalf at internal and external meetings and conferences.

Qualifications
Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level, or equivalent, which is in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Creditable experience includes: Knowledge of SSA/OHO programs and policies in order to perform the following: analyze and make recommendations; plan, direct and coordinate work; administrative/management practices and procedures, and to communicate orally and in writing.

Applicants must have 52 weeks at GS-13 or higher.
Time in grade requirement must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
Education
There is no substitution of education at the GS-14 grade level.
